“I was so disappointed in this third book. I don't know what happened during the creation of this installment. But Katniss regressed. She lost all her heroism. She became whiny and sulky, hiding in the closet. Sure, she is a teenager. But she was having such nice character growth during the first two books, and then she just stalled. She became self-centered, didn't care about her family any more, was distant to her sister, and moved out with another character the reader didn't even know. What's more, poor Peeta was finally rescued, but for months he had been tortured and brainwashed into trying to kill Katniss. After all his sacrifice for her, even losing his leg, she turns her back on him, angry because he tried to kill her. Of all people, she should know by now how horrible President Snow is.
I just hope that Hollywood changes the plot line in this book. Otherwise, I don't think the movie will be worth watching. But I heard the first Hunger Games movie was really good. I still need to see it!”
