Link, a land-lubber with a desire to see new lands, is sailing with Tetra, a pirate girl. They come across a "ghost ship" and come aboard. Tetra screams, and Linkfalls overboard. He awakens on a shore far away, facing a fairy named celia. With celia, he seeks linebeck, a sailor. Linebeck is also searching for the ghost Ship. they set sail for a volcanic island, where Link defeats a great monster. When they achive a cannon at a nearby island, they sail for the ghost ship. the're blown aside, however, and come across a girl dressed in white. Link kills the monster creating the huge wind sblowing them around, but the girl is kidnapped by a crab monster. after tracking the beast down and killing it, Link decovers that celia is a spirit, one that can track the ghost ship. linebeck reviels that the ghost ship was once his, and saves link form a major trap within. The great gaurdian spirit, the ocean king, grants link the wisdom of Bellum, the monster that is causing the evils of the world. on the way to face him, Link encounters Jolene, a pirate after linebeck. it turns out that this is a girl who felt spurned by linebeck's subtle way of punishing himself for his past, and she teams up with them. Linebeck is possesed by bellum, but link saves him. Link kills bellum, and saves the world.

  • Link: A hero and sailor, He thinks of himself as a great sailor when he's really just a swabbie. His strength comes from within, and his heroism is limited, unlike Links of the past.
  • Linebeck: A seasoned sailor, Linebeck is constantly doing what he can for his own sake, and for treasure. He's got quite a history, which Link must find by tolorating the events that made Linebeck so infuriating.
  • Celia: A fairy with no memories of her past, Celia has a desire to help link through his troubles in any way she can.
  • Tetra: Link's captain and friend, Tetra is fierce and works her crew hard. however, she cares deeply for them and their lives are important to her.
  • Jolene, the pirate Girl: A strange young woman with exellent sword fighting skills and a pirate ship. She hunts down Linebeck for reasons linked to his past.
