Setting & Locations edit
Set in Kaladh, a pre industrial often savage world of diverse peoples and sweeping landscapes.
- Mfundi: A lush jungle in southern Eros, home of the Tetzu.
- Dimwar: Primarily made up of the vast Golganna Desert, torn between two warring peoples: the Dimwara, led by the ruthless Serpent Queen, and the Bajacs, rebels who have made their homes among hidden oases and mountain strongholds.
- Galabrand: Once the seat of power in Kaladh, but now a fuedal farming nation cut off from the rest of the world by a colossal wall.
- Iklo House: The training ground for Tetzu healers.
- Sevi's Hold: A supernaturally hidden stretch of jungle used as a sanctuary for the Tetzu in the Evil Days.
- Gati: A ruined Tetzu city containing the gruesome remnants of the Evil Days.

- Noril: An ancient race of shapeshifters.
- Siannadh: A stone containing the essence of a powerful, otherworldly being. One of the Shards of Morning.
- Arianell: The second, more sinister of the Shards of Morning; it takes over it's bearer's mind and drives them to madness.
- Ap Digna: The Noril term for the High King of Kaladh.
- Sevi: Means the "All", a spiritual force believed by the Tetzu to connect all things.
- gholatu: A tribal tattoo made by small cuts died red that symbolizes the different orders of Tetzu.
- heidal: Means "faithful", a Bajac who has come of age.
- shurshim: The Bajac longsword.
- fidin: Means "outsider", the Bajac term for anyone who is not a Bajac.
- Seirizin: An elite force of Dimwara warriors trained to become hosts for malicious spirits.
