  “Silent Warrior is a true story and takes place at Carlos Hathcock's hospital room; he is moments away from death after living a long and exhilarating life. Charles Handerson takes you through all of Carlos' life from flashbacks to when he was 9, all the way to when he was a retired marine and laying low with his wife. Henderson focuses mostly on Hathcocks life in Vietnam, where Carlos became one of the best marines to ever hold a sniper rifle. As time went on and Carlos continued to rack up kills so the Viet Cong sent some their best snipers to take him out. But just as he had done time and time again he outsmarted every single one and was able to survive long enough to get home to his wife and son. Overall this has to be one of my favorite books and most entertaining books i have ever read.”
