- Hooah: two-syllable word meaning just about anything, depending on voice tone and inflection. Hooah is used in conversation, as in, “Have a hooah day,” or in acknowledgment or agreement, with hooah meaning “yeah,” “okay,” “sure,” “that’s right,” “no problem,” or “whatever.” There is no limit to the use of hooah.
