What a silly book! Enjoyable to a girl like me who loves Shakespeare, zombies, and vampires. But it's completely silly.

Decent, but not as good as some of the other mixed genre that I've rad.

Ehh...it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. I thought it would be more history than kitzsy, romantic type. It wasn't well-written either.

I went into this one not quite knowing what to expect. Shakespeare himself, to be a vampire? It was not based on another work, simply incorporating the undead into an existing classic. It was a new story, casting the Bard as an undead genius. For the most part, the story was interesting enough. But it never quite snagged me. The writer insisted on throwing in references to modern culture, with Shakespeare thinking up plots for THE SIXTH SENSE and STAR WARS, which entirely ruined the 1500s mood of the story. I detested that. And the language was entirely un-Elizabethan. But with a zombie subplot, how serious could I expect the writer to be? All in all, good enough for a one-time read, but not something I would recommend to others looking to get immersed in the horror mashups of late.

William Shakespeare, vampire meets Kate, a chasseur....Zombies are stalking Will, but why? They work together to get answers. Browsing the library shelves this popped out at me and i'm glad it did, such a fun quick read. I'll soon be picking it up at the book store as it's on my re-read list. Will and Kate pulled me into the story leaving me not wanting to put the book down!

This book answers all those questions about the proliic writings of Shakespeare! :) It is a very quaint book and a breeze to read. Nicely done!
