William Shakespeare: Necro-Vampire, can see and talk to ghosts, has an affinity with the dead and can sense them, has the ability to raise zombies. Famous Playwright and works at the Rose Theater.
Katherine Dymond: A Chasseur, a Hunter of Zombies and all other creatures of the night. Shakespeare calls her his Dark Lady and while in disguise as a young boy she is called Clayton.
Nounou: Kate's previous Nanny and the Chasseur who taught her how to hunt zombies.
Reginald: Kate's husband, a man who married her for her money and the possibility of a title.

Minced Oath: A minced oath (also pseudo-profanity or by-word) is an expression based on a profanity that has been altered to reduce the objectionable characteristics of the original expression. Late Elizabethan drama contains a profusion of minced oaths, probably due to Puritan opposition to swearing. Seven new minced oaths are first recorded between 1598 and 1602, including 'sblood for By God's blood from Shakespeare.
