- Charlie Feehan: A 16 year old boy who can run. His father died so he has to provide for his mother and his little brother. He is a smart and dedicated kid who is willing to do pretty much anything for his family
- Nostrils: This is Charlie's best friend who helps charlie through all of his problems. He is also a great rugby player.
- Mr. Redmond: Charlie's nweighbor who helps Charlie and his family through all their tough times when charlies father passes away
