COMMENTS: What does it take to cross the line into over-the-top violence & make me not want to read ... well apparently the awfulness of killing young mothers & babies didn't do it since I read the whole thing. Of course, I thought these crimes were really in the worst taste but darned if I just had to keep reading to find out why, why, why. Can't say that there was any reason that would make it OK but just had to know what motivated this insane killer. Kept me turning the pages and liked the alternating story of "Hello Kitty" the cat burgler. And of course there is the familiarity w/ the women characters form reading 8 previous books. Yes, there is over-the-top drama & angst but I expect it, so I tolerate it. I will continue reading this series for a quick escapist read.
