First, Nikki makes a fool of herself in front of Brandon, again. Then Brandon almost asks Nikki to the Halloween dance but MacKenzie comes in and interrupts him. Next, while Nikki is studying for a French test Brianna comes in and tries to scare her with a fake spider but Nikki thinks a real spider is Brianna’s fake one and when she realizes her mistake she freaks out. When MacKenzie gets elected chairperson of the Halloween Dance she makes the clean-up crew’s lives miserable. Nikki gets paid $150 to paint faces, by a lady that’s niece also goes to WCD at a Halloween party but MacKenzie is the lady’s niece and MacKenzie gives Nikki an ugly, stinky rat costume to wear at the party. Nikki goes to MacKenzie’s birthday party and her best friend Jessica shoves her plate of chocolate covered fruit on Nikki but some of the fruit lands in the chocolate fountain and in a few minutes when MacKenzie and Jessica are taking a picture in front of it, it shoots chocolate everywhere. MacKenzie resigns from chairperson of the dance and the clean-up crew end up having to do it all but they throw a really great dance and MacKenzie freaks out. Nikki's sister, Brianna, annoys Nikki with her pen person, Pen-elope, that Nikki drowns Pen-elope in her cereal bowl!
