Really liked everything except for the ending. But I guess it means there will be another book in the series. Can't wait for it to come out!

I listened to this book and I think i will end up reading it because i didn't really like the people who read it and it went back and forth a lot between a man and a women's voice for Simon and Clary so my opinion may change. I liked this book because its an Immortal Instrument book and like the story, like the characters, but while i was impressed with Simon's character, Jace's character has gotten really whiny and always full of so much self doubt and self hatred, i'm hoping that will change eventually but he has a hard time trusting people and accepting their love, but it was kind of confusing at times and hard to keep up with the twists, but the twists made for excitment, the ending was a cliff hanger of sorts and keeps me hoping for a happily ever after where City of Glass had more resolution to it. I think she could have ended it with City of Glass and be OK but i am excited to see what happens next.

I loved being back in Clary and Jace's world. The development of Simon's story was fantastic! I loved the addition of Jordan. I was a bit surprised by the ending and am now waiting for the next book..... which is torture!!

This story takes place a couple of months after the events of City of Glass. Everyone is trying to get back to normal after the final battle with Valentine. However, someone is killing former members of Valentine's circle. Then Jace begins having nightmares about hurting Clary, and strangers are attacking Simon. Once again the Shadowhunters and their downworlder friends must join together to fight against demon forces.

Cassie Clare has definitely done better than this one. There was too much fluff, not enough story. I was pretty disappointed. But I still liked it.
