Yes | No“Internationally acclaimed Australian author Juliet Marillier writes epic fantasy novels with true-to-life characters, singular plots, vivid weavings of myth and magic, and buttery prose. Her meticulous research of unique settings–Norse Orkney, ancient Ireland and Pictish Scotland–put her on the cutting edge of historical fiction as well. She is a truly gifted storyteller, and Foxmask is one of my favorite of her many novels. I interviewed Juliet on my blog, WriterUnboxed.com.”

I rated it in the average as I struggled to read the first half of the book. Nothing really interesting was happening ...
But then, the second part was very good a I couldn't stop reading! So, overall, an average rate looks adequate to me.

“This book is the sequel to Wolfskin. It seems as if this book took forever to read because I did not care much for Wolfskin. I will admit that I enjoyed this book more than Wolfskin because I liked the characters better. Foxmask tells the story of Thorvald and Creidhe, the children of the main characters from Wolfskin.
The beginning of the book is slow and picks up near the last 150 pages. While a sequel this book can be read on its own, though the most touching parts are better understood if Wolfskin has been read.
