- Zoey Commander: She is the main character of the story who wakes up from a car accident with partial amnesia. Her father doesn't really care about her and her mother tried to kill herself. Really likes Brandon. Thinks that Doug is mad at her and hates her. Seventeen years old. Captain of the swim team.
- Doug Fox: He is Officer Fox's brother. At first he really seems pissed off at Zoey, but after the accident he seems to be really nice to her. Member of the swim team.
- Brandon: Zoey's crush and boyfriend. Plays football. Just likes to do girls bad. Zoey and him are good friends and he asks her about girl advice.
- Keke: Friend of Zoey's. Lila's twin.
- Lila: Keke's twin, a friend of Zoey's
- Mike: Fellow member of the swim team, also involved in the car accident.
- Ian: Member of the swim team, is said to be gay.
- Officer Fox: Doug's brother. Police Officer. Police officer on call during Zoey's car accident.
- Ashley: Zoey's fathers new wife. Barely older than Zoey.
- Clyde: Zoey's father, owner of the Slide and Clyde park.
- Stephanie Wetzel: Lives across the street from Brandon. Zoey fears that Brandon may be interested in her.
