- Morelli: Homicide Detective. Stephanie has known him since she was 6 yrs old and he looked up her dress. He's still doing it. Morelli and Stephanie love each other, have talked about marriage, even went so far as to get "kind-of" engaged, but she's a bit phobic about commitment, and he doesn't like her job.
- Evelyn Soder: Young mother who disappears with her daughter after her husband leaves her for another woman. Stephanie is one of the many people looking for Evelyn and her child.
- Lula: An ex-ho turned file clerk at Vinnie's bail bond office, she is a "plus size" woman, who helps Stephanie get in and out of fixes - she likes to carry a large gun.

Stephanie shot Ramirez in self-defense after several harrowing encounters. Abruzzi financed Ramirez, and they are alike in their need to scare and hurt people for control, especially women.
