  • Ernest Gladstone: A physician in Dainger who is retiring. He was Milton Nix's physician.
  • John Steel: Coming back to her home town to practice medicine hasn't brought the peace she was lookin for but she has reconnected with her High school boyfriend and his parents
  • Matthew Kennedy: Will's father and pastor of the First Community Church.
  • Bess Elam: Cathy's landlord. Cathy rents the apartment over the garage.
