“I saw this play done at the Guthrie in Minneapolis, MN in November, and it's one of the most intense pieces I think I've ever seen or read. Like all of McDonaugh's other plays, this one has a number of surprising twists and turns that make this so engaging, startling, and at times disturbing. It's rare when I can walk away from a performance and remember vividly some of the stories and lines from the show, but this was one of those. "Pillowman" still captivates.”
