“I really enjoyed this book. It gave me a lot of insight into the world of a biracial woman living in the 1920s struggling with her identity. The author did a wonderful job taking the reader through the emotional ups and downs of the female protagonist. At times I felt myself frustrated and then later feeling pity for Helga Crane. This was a wonderful read. I'm looking forward to reading Passing.”
