- Lady Marian of Morlaix: Widow of Lord Harold of Morlaix. Visits Prince John at Ludlow Keep on a mission for Queen Eleanor.
- Sir William de Wendeval: Sheriff of Nottingham, collects taxes and protects the fief. Was raised by Marian's father, Lord Leaford, with Robin. Dark and cold.
- Robin of Locksley: Robin Hood, steals from the rich to compensate the overtaxed poor. Was raised by Marian's father, Lord Leaford, with William. Great archer.
- John Lackland: Prince John, brother to King Richard and son to Queen Eleanor. He adds to the taxes that King Richard needs for his crusade in order to keep a Court of Pleasure.
