  “Beautifully written, poignant book about the devil personified in modern day America. The author writes with seemingly effortless skill (usually a sign of a great deal of work put into a novel), with a prose that shows you what happens without beating you over the head with it or attempting to explain it to you. Lucifer and his companions are delightfully rendered, witty at times, dark at times. Wonderful three-dimensional characters, in short! Recommended.”

  “I never tire of reading this book. It's intelligent and witty. Some parts make me laugh out loud (to the grave concern of the dogs!). I appreciate the food for thought.
  
  I have everything this author's written, and I'm eagerly awaiting her two new books - the conclusion of the Crow series and a new vampire book. ”
