Ugh. This book was horrible for me. I didn't really like any part of it.

Will is such a weak character. He gets mad a lot, but that doesn't make him strong.

And there's so much racism in the book. I couldn't handle it. It's one thing to read a historical novel dealing with racism but this is supposed to be set in the near future.

There was nothing happy or positive in the book. The returners are there to absorb pain and suffering, But they don't do anything about it. They just accept it.

Add in the constant flashbacks and the dreams and thoughts and it all gets confusing. Just not my type of book. At all.

I found this book very hard to read into and get the addiction to keep on reading but after half an hour of reading I couldn“t stop and I finished the book in 3 days (259p.)! I loved how they put all of this mysteriousness into the book and the different characters. What I really found great was that when you kept reading everything made sense and everything led to an end. I would recomend this book to people that understand english well because the use of grammar is very confusing. But if that person loves thrillers and the mysteriousness it is perfect for them. If I would have to give this book a rating out of 10 I would give it a 7.

The plot had potential and the message was inspiring, but the story itself was just too flat and the writing too chopped.

Oh my freakin'... I read this book in three hours, I couldn't put it down! So captivating and thought provocative. It's absolutely excellent and everyone should read it!

Brilliantly written! There are sentences that will live with me forever, I think. Good story - very haunting and down-to-earth in the same time. No moral highground is laid out - you get to think for yourself. Still, the book lacks a bit in appeal in the later parts and would probably have gotten a three if not for the fantastic language (LOVE the repetition), the brilliant beginning and the urgency of the story.

This was ok. An interesting premise, but it was not carried out too well. Too much exposition, not enough true action.

well since we can't do 2 1/2 stars with and "i thought it was ok" rating, i did 3 stars cuz i didn't dislike it but i didn't like like it. neat concept. slow start for me and the ending was kinda wanting.

It was a good book, but not as good as the other Gemma Malley books I've read.
