Message in a Bottle

by Nicholas Sparks

The author of the runaway "New York Times" bestseller "The Notebook" pens a tale of self-discovery, renewal, and the courage it takes to love again. I rarely feel the need to hurl a book across the room, but this one tempted me sorely. I even had to blog about it. Please visit www.emilybryan.wordpress.com to see why.

Honestly, not my favorite book. It was kind of slow getting started and I didn't appreciate the descriptive love scenes. Pick something else if you have time to read...

I read this out of curiosity. I got it at a garage sale. I thought it was terrible.

Yes, I've read a Nicholas Sparks novel, so there. I found it on a shelf while I was waiting around in traffic court.

I wasn't very impressed with this book. I think I kinda felt like it was all just a cliche. The ending was disapointing but yet I kinda feel like it was the best part of the book. Not sure why. I definetly wouldn't read it again, but I know its a love story that a lot of people really love.

This book is rubbish, manipulative rubbish, and Sparks' legions of fans leave me gobsmacked.
