This book is like sitting down with a girlfriend for a heart to heart talk. Latus totally opens her life and thoughts to the reader in a convincing and unassuming way. You care about her and want her to succeed both in her career and in her personal relationships.
After reading this book, I am extremely appreciative of the men in my life, especially my dad and my husband. This has really opened my eyes to the patterns of male relationships that are developed by a daughter's relationship to her father. My dad has been unconditionally supportive of me my whole life and always made me feel like a treasure. This has allowed me, demanded of me, to choose a husband who treats me with the same love and respect.
