Please keep struggling!

I think a person would be better off writing his or her own notes to themselves rather than reading this book. And who knows? At least it would be a better use of one's time as those notes just might get published as well!

Notes to Myself is a reference book on how to lead life. It brings in new perspective and new meaning to life. Unlike other books where it might be difficult to gauge the time taken to pen it, this book reflects the deep thinking and the time committed to come up with such a wonderful piece of work. It is not a book which one reads through once and shelves it. This book need not be read sequentially. One can just start anywhere and one can experience the fresh breeze of life at the turn of every page. The power of words becomes evident in every line one reads. This book is a collection of the yellow pages notes written by Hugh Prather over more than a years period. But the wisdom accumulated in these notes goes far beyond even ones lifetime.

This book is insightful and thoughtful reinforcements of simple and powerful principles of life. This book would definitely serve as personal guide for the reader. This book also qualifies to be a great gift to the people of all ages. The book is characterized by profound truth and amazing clarity.
To some readers it may appear as rhetoric of simple things in life. But then I am sure that for every such reader there exist 1000 other readers who need to be impressed again and again with such messages. Overall the book has universal appeal and throws insights into the thoughts of a beautiful mind.

For me this book carries special meaning as beautiful memories are attached with it.

A book that ought to b given free to the whole of mankind. The thinking identify while the thoughtless learn to think. Beyond their own nose.
