“Take a drop of Stephen Kings Mist and Under the Dome, sprinkle a tiny bit of Phantoms from Koontz, mix a giant dose of Brian Keene and you get Darkness on the Edge of Town. I don't usually compare authors to other authors, because it's unfair, but that is the easiest way to describe this book.
Well paced, extremely easy to read, I enjoyed this book. What happens when you wake up and it's still dark outside? And it stays dark? And what the hell is in the darkness?
I have issues with Keene killing off my favorite character in a horrific and very underserved manner.
Overall I enjoy reading Keene, and working in a bookstore, I recommend him alot.”
