I was raised reading the KJV and still read it, the NIV is easier to read. Mine is printed in standard paragraph form instead of having each verse separated. I also have a NKJV, which I also like. For anyone who doesn't like the old English, i.e. Thee, Thou, Thy, etc. this version would be a much better choice.

This version is so much easier to read. Reading the bible use to be like reading a different language, one in which I did not understand. Now that I have my NIV Bible I'm relieved to finally be able to understand things within the bible the best I ever have!

Not probably the best book, THE BEST BOOK EVER! I will never finish reading this (even once I finish the whole thing) I will keep reading, and reading, and reading!

Yep. Read the whole thing. It was about a 3 year on-and-off process, but well worth it for the sake of saying I did. Probably better served read in sections, but interesting nonetheless. The genealogy parts get old QUICKLY.
