Things have been a bit stressful and I needed something mindless. Deidre Martin wrote the perfect book for my mood. I amnot implying that this book is mindless or trash. I know that Martin worked hard to write a good book and she succeeded. There are just times I need a romance to help me defuse. And this did just what I needed. Thanks Ms Martin.”
Patty F wrote this review Monday, March 29, 2010. ( reply | permalink ) Was this review helpful? Yes | No“Let me share a little-known fact: Hockey sticks can be used for something else other than hitting the puck across the ice. Alternative uses for hockey sticks according to La Lola include:
(a) sticking said hockey stick up the ass of the heroine from Deidre Martin’s “Fair Play”;
(b) whacking the aforesaid heroine across her whiny, snivelling face; and
(c) whacking her one more time for good measure, in case I didn’t do the job right the first time.
But all this is moot of course, because La Lola espouses the tenets of violence (just for this Easter weekend, praise Jesus), and resolves to live by the Tao of Pooh instead. So I spill out my venom on the pages of this website instead, dear readers, in the hopes that if even one person can be spared having to read “Fair Play” the world would be a slightly better place.
