I like many of Cindy Gerard's books, but I really didn't like this one. I didn't like the heroine at all. She was immature and obnoxious and she jumped to conclusions. If she hadn't, of course, there wouldn't have been a book. I don't mind a story that's not a "typical romance." In fact many of the ones I like best are about people trying to find their way back to the love they once had. But in this case, I can't see what he saw in her in the first place, and I was even more put off the longer I read.

Instead of just the usual boy meets girl, falls instantly in lust, Ms. Gerard tells the story of a married couple trying to find their way back from the pain and disappointment of losing what they thought they had. We should all be so lucky to have a husband who would make such an effort to prove the love was still there even though the lovers had changed.
