Wow! I couldnt take my eyes off of it and I couldnt live until i got the second book! A book about vampire brother rivalry from many centuries before surrounding the lives of High School students in present day time'wich would probably mean the 90s or something like that since the book was written back then'. Its got romance, LOTS of action, creepy spiritual activity and many more shocking surpirses! Readers might find this book VERY, almost TOO familiar to twilight'those whove read Twilight...

The twilight series was such enjoyable fun, that I had high hopes for this series, but even in fiction, human emotions and actions need to be somewhat realistic. Elena, the main character, is a very stereotypical character sketched in roughly. You're really not given much reason to like or care about her and the way her relationship with Stephan develops is not realistic, even for the speed in which teen romances develop. I loved this book so much! I totally love Stefan, but for some reason, most people around me love Damon...... I don't really like him........ but Elena is utterly right for Stefan! Amost like Edward for Bella!

I don't really like reading books. When I read books, it's like once in a blue moon. I saw this book (the second one, The Fury and The Dark Reunion) on the bookstore's new arrivals area. I felt the sudden interest within me, so I went back after 2 weeks or so to buy the book. And I'm not wrong. The story, settings and twists was really great. And I find myself falling in love with Stefan Salvatore...haha
