2 stories:

First up is The Man From Wolf Creek. Cale Landry is a 30 something rugged mountain man, living alone and liking it that way. He has been burned by love and has sworn off ever falling for a woman again. He is set in his very masculine ways and doesn't feel the need to clean up and impress anyone. When he befriends an old man, who unknownst to Cale is a thief and a scoundrel, he gets burned in another way;knocked unconscious and robbed of his precious haul of furs her has spent a season trapping. The old man makes restitution by turning over his 19 year old daughter, beautiful Raven(half Indian) to Cale for one season to use as he wishes.
Raven is just as stubborn and strong willed as Cale. Naturally the story sizzles with the heat of these two, but can Cale ever give his heart again?

"The Christmas Baby" has 2 feuding families killing each other off. So many innocent lives lost. The Winthrops and the Bentons have been fueling their hate for each other for decades. Emmaline Winthrop has an idea that may put an end to all the senseless killing. Her idea? Simple(or so it would seem)- have a Winthrop marry a Benton, produce a child of both bloodlines who will be heir to the property in dispute. They chose Emmaline to be the bride and when they approach the Bentons, they choose Conn Benton, a young(and very handsome) widower who has lost both wife and unborn child to the feud. Can a marriage made from hate grow into love? Well when the main job of the young couple is to produce a child....the passion sizzles! This one also has some mystery as although the families have declared a truce, there is still someone aimed at destruction and threatening to kill. Is it a clan member or someone with an ax to grind?
