This one concerns a former Secret Service agent, Joe LaBrava, a former film noir actress, Jean Shaw, and a plot to take the money and run. Of course, things go awry and plenty of loveless sex, passionless murder and double-crossing abound. A speedy, breezy read. My 24th Leonard book. I'm at it till I finish them all. (Read 6/03)”
