“Strangest book I have ever read. A murder mystery that could also be called a comedy. First book I have read by Elmore Leonard and I don't think I would look for more. I didn't hate it but didn't love it either. ”

A melancholy homicide detective, two corpses, two hit men, and a few other Leonardesque characters meet and bounce off of one another. As with all his books, everyone gets what they deserve... but it doesn't happen in quite the way you think it will. Great stuff.”
