This was a bit different then the previous books of this series. I enjoyed it though.

This book is thrilling, adorable, fantastic, emotional, sexy and carrying along. I felt, trempled and hoped for the heroes. I could never stop reading.
I have to say this to all the books from the Dark Hunter and Dream Hunter series.
Sherrilyn is my absolut favorite writer. She is amazing. I can“t get enough form here books.

It was an ok read, a little humor and pop culture here. While I was reading I felt like a spectator, the location wasn't familiar because it's not in New Orleans, but in Mississipi. Characters didn't really touch me although their stories were really sorry. I read "The Beginning" before starting this novel so I had a good idea who the characters were. There's little appearance of Acheron but there are more things about him revealed. It was mentioned in the previous book that he's a god. The action and suspense were mediocre, it didn't keep me on the edge of my seat. Evil didn't triump here yet, Stryker shall strike back, and although I know this should have a happy ending like the previous ones, it was written as if it won't so, good one there Sherrilyn Kenyon! The reason why I liked this book is because of Simi, she's really adorable and it's cute she gets to be reunited with her sister. It's ok to skip this one and move on to the next in the series.

What a nice change of pace for Sherilyn... I so enjoyed reading about the Dark-Hunter being a female... glad to see that we were not neglected as the driving force instead of the love interest...

Alexion, the boggie man of the dark-hunters. Called in when huters turn bad to judge and killif warranted. Ackeron's right hand man, Simi's teacher, protector, ftaher figure. He appears on and off through out history wearing a long white caot. Dangereuse St. Richard is a witty, beautiful, and short (for a dark hunter). The only dark hunter whom still has some of her humanity. I loved this story. They make a great couple. PS (spoiler) Simi has a sister and brother!

This story was one of those take it or leave it for me. There was nothing really outstanding about he story line, the characters were alright. Nothing special.

Wanted to like this more but it's always a crap-shoot with a book that includes French or the French culture. The smallest of mistakes, typos or misinformation always grates on my nerves to the point that it detracts from the rest. I wasn't thrilled with Danger's character either but it was an okay story. Best part? Anything with Ash and Simi!
