“I love C.S. Lewis, and usually love his writing. However, this book was a disappointment. The fantasy aspect was fun, and his concept of "the new adam and eve" was inventive. However, I have major theological problems with his explanation of the new Eve. In his created word, the Eve character is so passive and stupid that she's not actually able to make rational choices to follow God or not. Also, only Adam was created "in God's image;" Eve was not. This enjoyable book was ruined for me by the sexist and patriarchal elements. ”
