It's been a long while since I read this, but I remember Perelandra as being my favourite of the trilogy.

C.S. Lewis was a brilliant man. Sometimes it embarrasses me when I stumble across an author whose insights are so much deeper than my own. I confess! C.S. Lewis was smarter than me...but then again, so was Sir Issac Newton. Lewis is like the Sir Issac Newton of grasping God. Anyone struggling with exactly who and what God might be needs to read C.S. Lewis' Space Trilogy; it's like a Chronicles of Narnia for Grown-ups. Incredible Christian allegory without the overbearing press of "religion".

I think I'm liking this one better than the first, however the detail in which CS Lewis describes the planet is sometimes very slow, it is very original, but it makes harder to read it fast.

I agree that this is my favorite book of the trilogoy. The premise of no sin was quite interesting.

Great book that explores/imagines pre-fall creation (Eden). Best of the trilogy, but the trilogy is best read in order.
