The Monroe family brings home a baby rabbit they found at a horror movie and name him Bunnicula due to his coloring and markings. Chester the cat insists Bunnicula is a vampire, though Harold the dog thinks Chester is being ridiculous. Chester goes through several plans to catch Bunnicula in the act as vegetables in the kitchen mysteriously turn white and juiceless.
