“ The first part of this book is a mini-biography of King's life, which is amazing because you can hear all the ghosts of his characters knocking around in his childhood. The second part is written as if he is talking to you, but getting his conversation topics out of a textbook. This creates an interesting, inspiring, and suprisingly well laid out plan to write well. I didn't have any expectations of this book when I picked it up, but was thrilled with what it contained.
I'm a new language arts teacher and I only kinda know what I'm doing, but this book gave me some great ideas and ways to accomplish them. "All hail the King!"”
