This is much more than a cookbook. I garnered so much knowledge from these writings, and many tidbits of cooking that I learned from my elder family members were brought to mind as I read explanations, etc. I really enjoyed reading this book, and will continue to use it as a reference for my own recipes, both for eating and the healer's art.
