“My favorite King novel, Desperation is a meditation about the battle between Good and Evil, disguised as an intense chase story. I love the surrealness of David's relationship with God and with Marinville. I love the force that is Entragian, the most memorable "bad guy" in any book I've read (well, let's not forget Chigurh, from No Country for Old Men). Most of all, I love how all the novel's elements fit together to create an exciting, philosophical experience.”
