I am, of course, a long-time Stephen King reader. Lisey's Story, his latest novel, is a bit of a departure for him in that it's primarily a book about how a woman deals with the loss of her husband. But don't worry; it's also got a psychotic killer and a giant, man-eating worm-slash-monster thrown in there just to keep you on your toes and your finger poised to turn the next page.

Didn’t Like It

I couldn't finish this book. I didn't even make it 1/4 of the way thru. I was confused and I couldn't get into the story at all. This is one of the very few books I have never finished.

I was so psyched when he (stephen) said in an interview he wrote a love story, i couldnt wait to buy it as i want to write romantic suspense myself. yes the love was there but htis aint a love story. need i remind you what happens when you annoy the romance readers? you did write "Misery" i still think he is one of the best despite it.
