A different kind of Stephen King novel. Yes, there is some gore, however, this novel really brings out what I have come to believe is what really drives most of his work .... the mind. Very cerebral .... mostly deals with the human condition ... one other thing, as I was almost finished with the book I checked to see what some of you thought and I have to agree ... the ending was ... "Ha! That's it?" .... but then it reminded me of King's Pet Cemetary (the book, not the movie) and the short story of The Lady or the Tiger. The endings leave it up to the reader to decide how they believe what the outcome will be ... oh, once done reading it, I have never looked at my, or anyone elses cell the same again ......

I really enjoyed this Stephen King novel! Starts out with a bang and keeps you turning the pages. The ending leaves you hanging a bit, but I loved it that way!

This book will mess you up. It will make you think twice about answering you cell phone the next time it rings. One of King's best works.

I read Cell and it makes you think before answering your cell when it rings. I really didnt like the ending either and I hope theres a sequel to maybe make it make a little more sense. It just seems like at the end he kinda ran out of words to complete the story.

While I was reading this, whenever my cell phone rang, I became a little creeped out! But yes, the ending was a frustration as well as a disappointment.
