- Henry: FunJungle's mascot, a two-ton hippo.
- Teddy: The main character. Protagonist.
- Summer McCracken: J.J. McCracken's daughter. Helps Teddy to solve the mystery.
- Martin Del Gato: Add a description of this character.
- J.J. McCracken: The owner of FunJungle. Also a billionaire, and Summer McCracken's father.
- Pete Thwacker
- Large Marge: One of the main security personnel at FunJungle. Seems to have a grudge against Teddy, and is always suspicious of him, following him around constantly.
- Doc: The head vet at FunJungle. Doesn't seem to like people very much, but loves animals.
- Buck Grassley: A policeman.

- Henrietta: The female hippo at FunJungle.
- Roz: The secretary. Truly loves animals.
