I read this awhile back while still in the Army. It is one of the most heroic tales that I have read. I have been told it is 1 of only 2 civilian books that you can read while attending US Army SERE school. Unfortunately the author, Nick Rowe was murdered while still serving on active duty in the Phillipines. A tragic end to one of Americas greatest unsung hero's.
