I was introduced to this book (and the author) through the PBS series, Wine Food and Friends. Karen MacNeil has brought wine appreciation to the masses and presents it in a format that is easy to understand. MacNeil begins with a tutorial on "mastering wine" and then takes you on a trip around the globe to demystify notable wines in each area. The Wine Bible is also filled with photographs, maps, and bits of information about each region. It feels like a travel guide and a wine guide rolled...
