The eighth book in the Sisters Grimm series. The evil Mirror has kidnapped the Grimm's baby brother and taken him into the Book of Everafter. Puck, Daphne, and Sabrina head into the book themselves to rescue him, along the way re-writing various fairy tales and running from the Editor who is trying to fix the errors they are creating. Fans of this series will not be disappointed in this book and will await the final installment anxiously.

OK, not as good as the other books. I think the series is running out of steam. The sisters and Puck run through the pages of a book that contains all of the fairy tales. I htought it was the last book in the series, it is not. The next one has not been released yet, it appears.

Sabrina, Daphne and Puck have rushed into the Book of Everafter to save the Grimms sister’s little brother from the Mirror. They now find themselves in the very stories that they’ve been studying, from the Wizard of Oz to Pinocchio’s. Not only are they on a mission to save their family they have to worry about Pinocchio, the Mirror and a character called the Editor who everyone they meet is terrified of, that and his revisers.
It had been years since I had picked up this series again, I had totally forgotten Puck and Sabrina, Daphne and Granny Relda. It was good to pick it up again. Despite it being a couple years, I could still pick up the story, plot and characters without having read the other books in a while. This is great series with fun, lovable characters and a twist in the plot that makes everything fun. I would recommend this for children starting in third or fourth grade.

(Plot) Sabrina and Daphne chase Mirror into the Book of Everafter. The Book of Everafter is a book of fairy tales that come to life and is possible to bring out of the story. The book was made for Everafters to go and relive their fairytales, but since one person has changed their tragic story into a story that ends well. This was not allowed, because now that fairy tale is so unstable it could collapse and never have happened. The book was taken and locked up. Mirror, from the story of Snow White tries to go in to talk to wicked queen to give him a new body that he can live in. Sabrina and Daphne have to stop him or the world might be ruled by the Scarlet Hand.
(Characters) Mirror is the Magic Mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. He has been stuck inside a mirror and is under care of the Grimm family. He is sick of being stuck inside his mirror so he organized the Scarlet Hand. He is the head of the organization and the goal of the organization is to have world domination. He is a very good actor and many years he still sat in his mirror and the Grimm family hadn't figured it out. He is a good man inside, but the many years sitting inside his mirror has left him deadly, angry and will do anything to get out.
(Setting) The setting of this book is in the Book of Everafter where fairy-tales come to life. Although they are already alive in the real world it is like a continuous reenactment where someone can enjoy their story or other purposes the book was not intended for such as obtaining magical items or even changing the story. The story shifts to other fairy-tales such as Jack and The Beanstalk, The Wizard of Oz and Snow White.
