Didn’t Like It “I had a hard time rating this book. The storyline is decent. The serial killer is believable but the language is worse than sewer talk. I have never read anything that had the F word and MF and SOB in it so much. “I love murder mystery and investigation type books. John Sandford does an amazing job getting into the mind of the killer and the main investigator Lucas Davenport. ”

The next one in the series is just as bad when it comes to language. I can't recommend it due to the horrible language.”

“This is the first in the Lucas Davenport series. Lucas is chasing maddog, a serial killer who brutally rapes and murders young women. The maddog is smart-a serious challenge to even the intelligent, resourceful Davenport.

I like Davenport: He gets the bad guy, even if it means crossing the line himself sometimes.
