“Loved it! T.C. Boyle has a wonderful way with words. The opening line itself is one to re-read just for the imagery. And my favorites are his social realism books of which this is one. He explores two countercultures of the 70's with the lesson learned that you can't escape the world. I have to say that after reading this I'd never want to be either..........”
