She is a wealthy Eastern heiress who comes to visit her Uncle and Aunt in Texas. While in Africa she contracted malaria and hopes the dryness of Texas will help her not to have recurring bouts of the disease. She is met at the station by a "cowboy" whom she finds filthy, and crude. This cowboy decides that she needs a lesson in humility. Lots of twists and turns, heartache and joy. Loved it.”
