This is the only book I've read about the Return of King Arthur, and it was an enjoyable read, especially since Merlin has grown quite crochety in his old age and Arthur does not remember his former life. To my surprise, this was the final book in a series of Taliesen, Merlin, Arthur, the Grail and the Return. So, expect I'll be running through that series.

I read this because Stephen Lawhead is one of my husband's favorite fantasy writers, and when you're married you do things like read books that your spouse likes. It was the first fantasy book I'd ever read, and I really enjoyed the story.

Very intriguing book that transfers the Arthurian legend to modern times.
