  • Jack Spang: One of the "spangled mob" running diamonds from mines in Sierra Leone through Paris, London, New York and Las Vegas.
  • Tiffany Case: The "Bond Girl" is this story. One of the diamond runners with a shadowy history.
  • Ernie Cureo: A friend of Felix Leiter and member of Pinkerton's detective agency. Posing as a taxi driver.
