- Alexandria "Alex" Houton: A young graphic designer who cares for her little brother after their parents' deaths. She is short, slender with a mop of blond hair and sapphire eyes.
- Joshua Houton: Alexandria's 6 year old brother who she has raised since their parents' deaths.
- Paul Yohenstria: Vampire who abducts Alexandria and Joshua and attempts to turn Alexandria into a vampire. Hunted and killed by Aidan.
